Sorry you're right. Homer's a legend and his popularity in Britain is also shown by the fact that he was voted "Best Ever TV Character" last year, above such national favourites as David Jason's "Del Boy" and Rowan Atkinson's "Edmund Blackadder".
Homer rocks!
We could go with Homer. Lower the drinking age to 6 or something.

Defeating Blackadder sure means a lot. He actually makes 'ardvark' a popular word.
