You know, all these late teens, early twenties young men that wear these Che Guevara t-shirts would most likely be the first that Che Guevara would shoot if given the opportunity.
"WOW! Che Guevara! YOu're alive! I think you're like, so cool! You're my hero. See? I have a t-shirt with your picture on it! Actually, I have four of em. Different colors to so I can... Whoa! Look at that assault rifle! ANd in broad daylight too! You don't give a damn about the cops, do you? I...hey! WHat are you..." BLAM! BLAM! BLAM!
:D

I have always found it ironic that his image is a corporate icon, marketed on everything from posters to pencil cases.

Remember how the company that bought the rights to Che's likeness sued that other company for making t-shirts with his likeness on it? What would Che think?

Who says advertisers don't have a sense of humor? Same thing as the "Emerica" t-shirts and other products. "I'm anti-coporations, except when they make things I want."

Most of the people wearing those tshirts probably don't even know what he did. I've heard people talk about how cool the tshirts are without being able to actually name him.
I haven't the tiniest idea who Che Guevara is. Please explain.

He was a communist revolutionary who traveled across South America on a motorcycle and ended up leading like-minded followers to combat governments in the region.

I've had the same experience, it's sad really.

Che was the exception that proves the rule: He was a communist revolutionary worth idolizing.

I bought this shirt last month. It's not quite as lame as all the Che shirts on completly uncool people. This is the true anti-hero.

Admittedly I don't know any spacifics to his story, but I have a general idea of who he was and what he did. Sadly I missed seeing the movie on him at the film fest here earlier in the year.

Man, if people idolized Reagan like they do Che, I would have to administer many a beatdown.

Anyone who is a communist just to be cool doesn't really know what being a communist is, I think.

In a battle to the death between a Reagan idolizer and a che idolizer, I'm putting my money on the Reaganite.

Kind of ironic that The Reagan Idolizers are more likely to be armed, eh?

Yeah, cuz it was Reaganomics that had to be enforced at the end of a rifle, not marxism. People all over the world flee Marxism, not reaganomics.
