OI's Suggested Laws

I can't wait until this election crap is over. I'm tired of overhearing people talking about crap they don't know anything about. I think I'm going to make some political laws, the following is a rough draft:

1. Moderatism is king. Don't be an extremist.
2. There is nothing wrong with being independent/unaffiliated.
3. Truth from both sides is important. Don't be a hypocrite.
4. Two extremists (who are already in violation of the first law) on opposite sides of an issue should confine their debates to telephone conversations and Internet forums (in the interest of public safety).
5. A liberal extemist should never be chosen to make a speech. Period.
6. A conservative extremist should never be chosen to make a speech. Period.
7. Two or more liberals should never be allowed to have a political discussion unless there is at least one competent conservative present.
8. Two or more conservatives should never be allwed to have a political disccusion unless there is at least one competent liberal present.
9. Conservatives should realize that the rest of the world thinks they are on the far right bank and out of the mainstream. The rest of the world considers people like John Kerry to be moderate RIGHT.

Anyone have any suggestions?

10. Michael Moore can not release movies after January 1 of any Presidential election year.
11. Sites like this (http://www.scaryjohnkerry.com) will be fed to Michael Moore for lunch.

**laughs** and political discourse in the world would drop by 95% overnight. Perhaps, not a bad thing, but we would be putting Jon Stewart out of a job.
