Gigli and Glitter are both excrutiatingly dull and stupid movies that feed soley off of the fact that their lead roles are two relatively attractive and famous females.

What would you want me to include, amateurish works like The Godfather, Citizen Kane, or Schindler's List?

How can deny the talents of a pair of virtuosos like Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez, both thespians of the highest degree.

And Affleck in Gigli? MAGNIFICENT!!!!

CLASSICS?!?!?!?! CLASSICS?!?1?1?!?!?!?!

*is film freak*

Alfred Hitchcock? Indiana Jones? Casablanca? BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S? GONE WITH THE WIND?

ZOOLANDER?
Vaca Sagrada

Ok...you got me there with zoolander. "Gone with the Wind" and other such crap is not of MY time and not WORTH my time. I wasted valuable hours of my life watching that crap-fest.
Other classics of my time include: EuroTrip (you have to live in Europe to understand how great it really is), The breakfast club, and American Pie(s).

Yeah it's not my entertainment cup of tea either, but if you're asking for classics...

If you liked those movies you'd LOVE Da Ali G Show. FUNNIEST MAN ON EARTH.

Glitter and Gigi sucked! Get a real movie, like Shaun of the Dead, Army of Darkness, Kill Bill (volume 1, 'cause vol.2 sucked...), Pulp Fiction, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, Donnie Darko, Fahrenheit 9/11, Coming To America, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, The Blues Brothers, Pirates of the Carribbean, or at least Bowling For Columbine! for christ's (even though he doesn't exist) sake...

GASP! Nightmare Before Christmas was my favorite movie until last year. Shaun of the Dead was frikkin awesome except maybe a tad gruesome. Better than Dead or Alive though.

I hope this started as a joke, but anyway... Here you go, this is my top ten, start by watching them and then we'll talk:

5- Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Arc
6- L.A. Confidential
7- Mission: Impossible (only the first one, the second is just a James Bond movie with Tom Cruise)

Don´t get me wrong, the movies are very well done. I am a film student I totally respect the filming aspect of them, but they are just so...long. And pointless. Full of pointless things. They won awards because no one actually watched them all the way through, except you of course. No one wanted to admit that they were EXTREMELY boring...because they were supposed to be SO GREAT so they just handed out the awards. They´re all about politics anyway. You should know that!

My friend is at NYU for film right now. He really likes it and makes some pretty great/hilarious things. But you do have to work your ass off and know a lot of stuff. Have you done film related things before?

Here are some more, you can add Lethal Weapon 1 to 4, Minority Report, Ronin, The Fugitive, The Ghost and The Darkness, and The Saint. Two that you'll have to look for at Blockbuster (or wait that by miracle they show it on TV): Thursday and The Boondock Saints

I just got FinalCutPro...haven't had the opportunity to try it out yet. I've made dozens of shorts and various music videos on iMovie and once I was a gopher for a camera guy for a one day thingymabobber (learning experience thingy). It's nothing at all but I figure if it's somethiing I love to do I'm bound to get good at it.

By the way, its just "Raiders of the Lost Ark". Good old George Lucas was trying to change history again by adding the Indiana Jones prefix to Raiders the DVD release. Also Raiders is way better than Last Crusade in my opinion, though Last Crusade is still an excellent film.

How come no one has mentioned Young Frankenstein or Blazing Saddles yet?
