Just six weeks after undergoing quadruple bypass surgery, President Bill Clinton will be going on the campaign trail to help John Kerry. This article (http://www.guardian.co.uk/uselections2004/story/0,13918,1331955,00.html) in the Guardian has the details, including something certain to confuse right-wing conspiracy theorists everywhere--he's doing it despite the fact that Hillary doesn't want him to hurt himself so soon after surgery.
I can hear it now--Hillary really wants Bill to stay out of it so she can run in 2004. Bill's doing it out of spite because Hillary won't let him have an intern anymore. The possibility that Hillary might really care for Bill and worry about his health won't even occur to many of them. Whatever.
So what do you think? Will Clinton have an impact in battleground states? Will it backfire on Kerry's campaign? Will the Big Dog rally the troops and sweep Kerry to an overwhelming victory? Here's the thread to hash it out.
