Presidents shouldn't use racism and religious war rhetoric to boost their popularity in hicksville USA. Meanwhile stealing the war oil for Halliburton.

Bush : chimp. Probably a societal/evolutionary regression. Backwards step. Qualified by policy. An amalgamation of ideas meant to oppress, restrain, falsify when under scrutiny ... and no accountability!
Kerry : Frankenstein w/out the neck bolts. Probably a societal/evolutionary(?) advancement. Move into progressiveness. Qualified by terms of possible policy, if/when elected. An amalgamation of ideas meant to fix, upgrade and update ... no matter what this guy'll be on the ropes the whole time.

Bush already f*cked up lotsa times. He should take his hemmorhoid-sucking fanged neocons out and drop 'em in the fight and leave 'em there w/out armour.
Kerry isn't likely to get enough support from the movers & shakers in Congress and the House to look anything other than ineffectual, and both parties will blame each other. But at least he hasn't had teh chance to really f*ck up yet (other than that medal bullsh*t).
I probably could go on, but i'm sure someone elses will and maybe even a few'll put me to task .....

When JFK ran for president it was the first time the debates were televised.

They ran a poll afterwards. The people who listened on the radio thought he'd lost the debate. The people who watched on TV thought he'd won.

Both Kerry and Bush should not be allowed to be president. They should give power to some form of primative monkey. He'd be just as effective. Perhaps even better.

The leader of a country shouldnt ignore actions that they believe to be the best interests of their country simply because foreigners diagree.

Hindsight is great, try and find me a pundit who currently says appeasing Hitler(Poland) was a good idea. Because there were plenty of people at the time who thought it was a good idea.

In this day and age, the risks are too great to take chances. If you dont see that, then you dont.

In some circumstances it makes sense to take preventaive action, in others it doesnt. Its a tough knife edge to walk on, and there will be critics regardless of the side of the knifes edge a politician walks.

At least Bush is willing to walk that blade, instead of ignoring it like many politicians want to.

Like Clinton, who refused to walk that edge even though it wasnt as sharp in his time as it is now.
