Eastwood is not actually a Republican. He is an independent, and he donated money to the Clinton campaign both times around. He's also notoriously against having the government in people's bedrooms, so I don't think he's really on the list.

When did he become an independent, he was a Republican when Bush II was inaguated? I think you'll find that many Republicans are against having the government interfering in peoples's lives, not just their bedrooms - if you look beyond whatever sterotype of Republican you have. If this makes on not actually a Republican then most Republicans are not Republicans. As for donating to Clinton, I'd like to see that sourced - he was not highly critical of Clinton but he praised Dole and Bush I.
I checked Open Secrets and they don't have any donations listed for him for Clinton (or Bush, (I only had him as a possible)) but he did contribute to Sam Farr's 2002 campaign and Farr's a solid democrat.

I'm feeling sorry about Stephen King, who is quite a good popular writer and whom I rated intelligent. I really thought he was smarter. I dislike all others (those I know) so I don't give a damn. I'm sure the list of republican celebrities would be more appealing to me anyway.

Mike Ditka
I guess that makes me a nobody. :( I am a huge Bears fan and Ditka was likely the team's best-ever tight end and was most definitely the only head coach to take them to a Super Bowl, in which they annihilated New England, 46-10.
I'm gonna pretend I didn't see some names on that list. :(
Same here.

Doubtless, the Republicans can point to that with pride. Let the dems have the wackos. Speaking of which, who did Michael donate to?

That's because they're rich, not because they're smart.
Most of the celebrity big-namers (J-Lo, Michael Jackson, Ben Affleck, Joey Buttafuoco, etc..) actually donated to the kerry campaign... I'm just trying to find the few handful of famous conservatives.
And you sound pretty ignorant.

Sweet.
Also Adam Sandler.
Please take Clint off the list until someone can be sure. OpenSecrets.org doesn't have him listed and while he may have given money to Bush, he may not have. He's only a possible (a conservative who has given money to politicians in the past). He's a conservative and was (at least) a Republican, but may not have given money to Bush.

Also add Mel Gibson and international music sensation Tiny Tim.
The head of Iran's security council, Hasan Rowhani, said Tuesday that the re-election of President Bush was in Tehran's best interests. "We should not forget that most sanctions and economic pressures were imposed on Iran during the time of Clinton," Rowhani said. "And we should not forget that during Bush's era — despite his hard-line and baseless rhetoric against Iran — he didn't take, in practical terms, any dangerous action against Iran."
Why shouldn't one religiously intolerant government endorse another?

Here's a blurb from one of the links on that site:
“If you’re listening to a rock star in order to get your information on who to vote for, you’re a bigger moron than they are. Why are we rock stars? Because we’re morons. We sleep all day, we play music at night and very rarely do we sit around reading the Washington Journal.”
Alice Cooper also reportedly said “when I read the list of people who are supporting Kerry, if I wasn’t already a Bush supporter, I would have immediately switched. Linda Ronstadt? Don Henley? Geez, that’s a good reason right there to vote for Bush.”

Also, I'm surprised nobody's listed the many country music artists. That's one area of entertainment where you basically get blacklisted for being a liberal (Dixie Chicks, anybody?)
