I learned today that Sen Kerry made his 19th visit to the Keystone state today. Wow, you guys must feel honored.

But on to more important issues.
How can the Senator think you guys are mushrooms? Is he that dense? It is a well known fact that former President Clinton addressed the Social Security issue during his term. How can it be, that today, according to the Sen, it is President Bushs fault?
Also, the flu vaccine was outsourced, and ALL of the politicans agreed. But, was it a secret plot against the President that the production lab was shut down due to a problem? Or, could it have been democratic sabotage?

Keystone voters, I ask you to relook the lies and twisted truths that the Sen from Boston laid out to you. Challenge his thoughts about how and why you should believe his campaign, for it would not take much research to prove it a fallacy.

You seem to have a good background in Kerry's faults, but have you even researched Bush's?

Out of the two, Kerry is the lesser of two evils, and don't tell me who to vote for.

Yes I do, and yes I have. I'm a veteran, and know all to well both sides of this campaign.

You feel kerry is the lesser, and I feel The President is the lesser, it appears we both agree that neither is a top candidate.

Who am I to attempt to tell you who to vote for? All I asked is that you research this latest round of hogwash.

I am from Pennsylvania, I expect my absentee ballot to be coming in the mail any day now. I will be voting for Kerry. I do not believe Bush is a moron (however, I do believe Kerry is more intelligent). I do not believe Bush is evil. I do not believe Bush is a puppet controlled by Karl Rove/Dick Cheney/whoever else people say.

Both politicians use twisted facts and stretch the truth to get their point across. However, from what I've seen, Bush does this far more. Basically it comes down to this for me: do I want 4 more years of the same, or do I want a change? I, for one, want a change. I want a President who will accept blame for his mistakes. I want a President who won't invade other countries without a good reason. I want a President who realizes that keeping the economy strong and balancing the budget is more important than tax breaks, especially tax breaks for the richest people in America, the people who have no need of those tax breaks. And in a time of war, I would prefer to have a President who is a decorated war veteran, rather than someone who was simply in the National Guard and never saw any combat.

*NOTE* - I am NOT bashing anyone who is, or ever has been in the National Guard. Being in the National Guard during Vietnam was almost a guarantee you would not see combat. Today, that's not the case (although it should be). My point simply is that I would rather have someone control our armed forces who has seen combat personally over someone who hasn't.

*ANOTHER NOTE* - If Bush cares about our soldiers so much, why hasn't he gone to a single funeral for a soldier killed in Iraq or Afghanistan?

Getting nervous?
Nope, not at all. Just questioning the ability of the democratic smear campaign. Mud slinging, and twisted truths, are still acceptable, but flat out not even in the same stadium sliders? I just hope more people can see through to the light within.

You should appeal to the voters of Iowa, Wisconsin, Ohio, Florida, or Nevada.

Those are the only states that are really being fought over by now.

PA is a solid Kerry state.

I'm confused. Assassins, why are you saying in here that you prefer Bush when in the thread I created you posted not even half an hour ago this:

If you consider an absentee ballot as voting early then yes.
I cast my vote (for kerry of course) and placed it in the hands of the postmaster last week already.
Reason, I'm a few thousand miles from home.

Which is the truth? Or am I missing subtle humor somewhere?

Not really. Whenever the presidential candidates come in for their dog and pony shows, our cities have to foot the bill for security and setup. They've hit my area several times each, and I'm tired of my tax dollars going to have to police department cordon off entire streets just those these assholes can blame the problems of the world on each other.

I don't know why they keep going to PA. Bush might have had a chance there at the height of his post-convention bounce, but it's solid Kerry now.

Exactly--I think the Bush campaign yanked their ad buys from there earlier this week.

I live in PA and think that it will go for Kerry. In fact, I predict that Kerry will win *all* the so called 'blue' states. However, that is obviously not enough to win (assuming you accept Florida as a red state which is open to debate).

In order to win, assuming he wins all the blues, he needs to do one of three things:

win Florida
or
win Ohio
or
win a comination of very small swing states (most likely scenario would
be WV and NV = 10+260 =270 = victory)

It goes without saying, therefore, that it is quite possible that the key swing state could very well be, as you probably already know, either Florida or Ohio.
PA is obviously one of the big three swing states and will continue to receive a lot of attention from Bush and Kerry, but in the final anlysis I predict that it will remain blue...

Both candidates flip flop, lie, and distort the truth. One is responsible for innocent deaths (Iraq, Bush) the other WILL be responsible for innocent deaths (partial birth abortion, Kerry). I hope they're both assassinated, I'm voting Nader (whether he wants the presidency or not).
