When I was a 13 year old boy, I often found myself sitting up at night, sometimes in tears. I would have thoughts such as "Am I a bad person?". I had never wronged anyone but society repeatedly told me how bad or wrong I was. All I wanted to do was exist in peace and be who I was. Every single day I was made into some sort of joke and the people who did it were not even aware. Why did I feel this way? Because I was bisexual. What I still wonder is why. Why did you people treat me like this?

Mate, I got the same crap and I wasn't bisexual or gay. The way I see it is half the world are Jerks and the other half is worth knowing. Just ingore the jerks and do your best not to be one yourself. There is plenty of compassion out there, you just need to find it. :fluffle:

As of now I'm bi and I'm not ashamed or questioning my character. It's almost been a year that I've been with someone I love very much and I plan on remaining this way. Luckily I was strong enough to get over that but I fear for the next who is not. Living in the bigotting society of the US can leave scars on people and it's not just for homosexuality. There are other things as well.
