The average IQ is 100. I'm pissed that my state is a point below that, but whatever, I bet the Willamette Valley has a better average than the state at large. And besides, I bet much of the rest of the world would get better scores than we do in the good old U.S. of A.

We were shown statistics in a political science class that showed that college graduates were more likely to vote republican. Basically the better education you had, the more money you made, and thus the more conservative you were.

I am currently attending a universty in the western states and live in campus housing. There are almost 200 people in my wing of the building and only about five of us are liberal. Of those five only two of them are democrats, the rest are unaffillaited. We choose to vote the person rather than vote the littel letter next to their names. It does seem (at least in my area) to be only liberals that will take that point of view, the conservatives madly vote anything with an (R) next to it whether truly conservative or not. D seems to stand for Devil or Damnation.

By the way I live in Utah and attend Southern Utah Univetsity for it's excellent education and music programs. Utah is primarily conservitave but there are lots and lots of students from out of state, espescially in my dorm. I plan to go somewhere else (for music not fo politics).

So if you're a ten year old as smart as the average 20 year old, your IQ is 200. None of you posting here probably have IQ's above 140, that's not an insult, it's simply true. Over 150 is genius, which would basically be an 8th grader who can do calculus, and under 70 (or 75, can't remember) is retarded, a 12th grader who can't do algebra.

That's the good old Utah I know. I lived there for 5 years, from 4th to 9th grade.

That sounds about the same as my college though. I did a little survey the other day for an anthropology, and found that about 1/4 of the students (or, at least, my little sample) were undecided. About 1/2 of the people were voting bush, and 1/4 were voting kerry. But this is North Dakota, so that's expected. But I've noticed the same thing, most of the pro-kerry people are just trying to find the best candidate. The pro-bush people I've talked to are (on average, not only rabid Fox news viewers, believing it to be the only unbiased news source), but also unwilling to hear any arguments for kerry from me.
