Anybody Else Been Ripped Off By FYE?

So, I bought the new Star Wars Trilogy on DVD via FYE's web site. They offered a $15 rebate off list price in store and on the internet. Lo and behold, I get an e-mail from RebateHQ's - who's handling it vis-a-vis with FYE - and they're telling me that FYE doesn't participate in the offer, even though they handed out rebate forms on the internet when purchasing the product and in the store... so, I e-mail RebateHQ and told them this wasn't right, because I have all the documentation right here, and they keep running me around in circles telling me I'm wrong, they're right, and basically I get ripped out of $15.

Anybody else have any problems with this deal?

I'm thinking about contacting a lawyer for false advertising, because, FYE/RebateHQ has pissed me off beyond belief at their sheer ignorance and stupidity.

Rebates are silly anyway. Just buy the lowest price you can. As rebates always have silly conditions and stuff. They are designed to minimise the amount of people who get them. Whereas if they actually intend to sell it cheap, it will be available at a low price.

Yeah, I know that, but most places were over-inflating the price of the trilogy by over $5 (like Blockbuster)... this was the best deal, even without the rebate.
