If you were JFK and you had to make the decision of what to do about the weapons being shipped into cuba from the soviets what decision would you make? Would you blockade the imported WMD's? Would you invade, knowing that the last time you did it at the bay of pigs you were wiped out. Would you launch an air injection even though this may be seen as immoral.
What would you have done in Kennedy's shoes?

I, for one, woulda ducked after that first shot through the shoulder. Then I woulda gotten our 'advisors' the hell outta Viet Nam, and stopped punking out to the Soviets.

Wow.
What an actually original question.
Ive never heard anyone ask this question in a thread before.
(No joke...deadly serious.)
Its hard to say if Kennedy made the right choice, in that situation.
It was the height of the cold war, and the wrong move might well have ended with Russia and the United States exchanging Nuclear Doom.
But that didnt happen.
Instead..Kennedy stopped shipments of a destructive nature to Cuba....(and some other ships too.)
And made some other choices of a more tactile nature.
Life, as we know it...continues.
Im not gonna say that Kennedy was a saint, or that he didnt have his share of corruption, but when the United States was inches away from a Nuclear war with the Soviet Union...
...the next day, there were people to read about it in the news.
Kennedy apparently made the right decisions.
In his shoes, I would piss myself.
Probably.
