I'm not a fan of Michael Moore. I'll rephrase that. I downright dislike Michael Moore and think America would be better off without him. He's a zealot, an attention-whore, and quite often, fact-impaired.

But I have been reading his newest hardcover and I really think it's probably the one book everyone in America should read (sadly, the bookstore I work in hasn't sold a single copy since its debut last week, probably because people are sick of Michael Moore).

I do know better than to automatically trust anything he says/does, but this book seems pretty legit. What do you guys/gals think?

Moore's an asshole and a glory hog. He doesn't give a damn about our troops. His fat-ass didn't whine when Bill Drop-Your-Pants-and-Inhale-My-Cigar Clinton sent troops to Kosovo. If it had been a Democrud who had sent the troops to Iraq, you wouldn't hear Moore-on whining. Since it was a Republicon, though, of course you'll hear him b**** about it.

Well to be honest it was a peacekeeping missing (Kosovo). The troops wasn't sent in to topple a dictaorship. And Clintion is one of the best President we had in the 20th century. Sadly the only thing most people will remember about him is the BJ thing.

I'm an Iraqi War Veteran. My sister is over there right now. Needless to say, I know a lot of people over there or who have been over there.

That being said, this group that Moore has highlighted, for most of his book, is the minority, and some of it is simply troops doing what we do best: bitching. It seriously sucks over there, weather and conditions and everything. Its not a fun place to be. As for those in the book decrying the war: They don't speak for a majority of us. They are a small part. Most of us who went in at first and saw how things were are glad we did and know what a difference we have made.

Moore, once again, isn't exactly lieing, but he is far, far from the truth.

I used to really enjoy his films up until Fahrenheit 9/11, Fahrenheit was to long and freaking boring to watch.

Yea and Bush is doing such a great job himself.

At least President Clinton got the economy at its highest point during his term in office.

Bush still has only one terrorist attack on America.

Clinton had the WTC bombed in '93, the Kenyan Embassy bombings in '98, and the USS COLE in 2000 during his administration.
