I'm a member of the Democratic party, but I've voted for members of the Green, Libertarian and Republican parties in the past, both in primaries and general elections.

"A simple political question."

There ARE no "simple political questions," especially on here!

Since I can think for myself, I'm my own "party".

Other. I consider myself a libertarian, but no party owns me.

I voted Democrat, since that's probably what I'll register as. Might register as an independent, but probably not.

If your party isn't on the poll, vote on other. I was rushing to do something else at the time so I forgot to put Libertarians and Independents on the poll.

EXACTLY! I put other (even though I'll vote Democrat as long as they are the dominant liberal party) because I am an independant. IMO, when you register as a party, you are telling them that they own you and you will follow them whatever they do. When you register as an independant, you are telling them they must work for your vote, and convince you that they have the better plan, etc.

Michael Moore and Bill Oreilly are both registered independants as well, worth noting.

I would be in the Libertarian Party of Ohio, but Ohio Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell (R) refused to acknowledge the valid ballot access petitions and the only way to join a political party in Ohio without paying money is to vote on its ballot in the primary. Therefore, I'm still registered nonpartisan

I really like to think for myself, thank you. I think you could call me a closet anarchist.
