...then why vote for a jerkoff like Kerry - how about bringing people together to elect Nadar. Kerry is just another political wanker who's lying to your faces and he's going to do what every candidate does with the presidency... use it to get richer.

Because our American society is split between Republicans and Democrats. Voting Nader would just help Bush.

Voting Bush - 4 more wars!
Voting Kerry - 4 more wrinkles!
Voting Nader - 4 wasted votes!

What's left?

Fry: *referring to Bender and friends* Omigosh...They've all become complete idiots!
Bender: I have an idea everyone! Let's all join the Reform Party!
All: YEAH!

It's a little close to election day for a Nader revolution to begin, if he were even capable of leading one to begin with. ;) Still, Bush's approval ratings will creep up for the next four years, after people are over the election and start judging his term on the facts, not just election-year hype. He'll keep getting things done till '09, democrats seeking power will continue to emulate him, and we'll be better off for it.

To be honest judging by the way Nader has conducted himself I'm not sure he'd be such a refreshing and progressive force anyway.

He's a republican stooge and thats all there is too it.

I would LOVE to see more parties, but Nader is a disaster. Neither the theory nor the practice of his getting elected would benefit the county.

Practice: he wouldnt sign anything comeing out of the legislative branch and the legistlative brach wouldnt pass anything that he would sing.

On the plus side, no spending bills would get through because he would veto them. Both parties would probably get together and override his veto. They would do this with no political consequence because Nader is a minority party.

Theory: If he was able to get the things he wants, the economy would completely tank. For example, minimum wage would be very high but more people would be unemployed because companies would choose to not hire that additional worker(a la Germany or France)

same with environmental laws( does anyone wonder why we havent built a refinary in 30 yrs???) Think about that everytime you fill up tank of gas.

He takes money from the groups that fund the Swifties, and gets his signatures by Republican groups.

And now, we have a Republican telling us to vote Nader.

Well if you want a right-wing candidate in office why not vote for Kerry? Bush is just another political wanker who's lying to your faces and he's been doing what every candidate does with the presidency... use it to get richer.

aside from a vote for nader NOT getting bush out of office....

nader would make a terrible president

successful politicians have to have way fewer morals than nader does in order to get anything done.

the congress would have NO reason to work with him. he would veto way too many of their bills (or perhaps ALL) and whatever he wanted done would be dead as soon as he proposed it.

and i still resent the bastard for saying that if he couldnt get elected last time that it would be a good thing to have a republican IN so things would get worse and people would wake up.

First, stop lumping everyone into one category. Life's not black and white.

Some of us, like myself, are capable of independent thought and coming to conclusions about our own opinions on all sorts of matters, like who to vote for in this upcoming presidential election.
