Okay, I go to File, then to Open, then I select a bunch of files and click Open again. All those files open and RealPlayer is supposed to play one, then play the next one, then the next one, and so on until it has played them all. Except, it always seems to skip the one after the one it has just played.

Let's say the files are named Song1, Song2, Song3, etc. I open up to Song10. I start playing at Song1. Now Song1 ends and, instead of then playing Song2, Song3 starts. I then say "What the hell?" and manually click back to Song2. Then Song2 ends and, instead of going to Song3, it goes to Song4. This continues until I get fed up and close the whole damn program.

Any idea what's wrong and how I can fix it?

No idea here aswell.. Im just going to stick to winamp.

uninstall realplayer, run ad aware to get rid of all the crap. install music match juke box. i would still be using it but it doesnt have any skins that arnt shit for its last update so im stuck with lame ass winamp
