After they're done, what will we be talking about? I joined in the summer of 2004 so election discussion is all I've ever known here.

A lot of hate threads by Republicans if Kerry wins, a lot of hate threads by Democrats if Bush wins. Not to mention scores of new threads b****ing about the new President's policies.

There will be the "Kerry stole the election..." threads, the "the election system need to be revised" threads, the "we're doomed in Irak" or "Terrorist will attack USA again" threads because Kerry got elected.
Oh and I suspect that most of the regular subjects will come back with a vengeance. I'm talking about gun control, death penalty, Israel, Gay mariage and so on...

I think everyone will be mostly comfortable with the decision. I think people will generally calm down and learn to love one another again. I think everything will be O.K.

Until about Thanksgiving, the board will be filled with endless spam / conspiracy theories about how whoever won rigged the election, after that it will go back to normal US-Bashing, the only difference being is if Kerry is elected, people will "Not like Kerry, but like the USA".

oh, it will be completely different, almost unrecognizeable.
the threads will be intellectually challenging and there will be lots of love, shared fond memories 'remember the time b.e. (before election)?', sleepovers, free cookies, laughter, and ...world peace.
