As far as who would win in a fight, Tux clearly. He is so much smarter, as he actually has a brain.
I also want to point out that Tux is about ten million times cooler, I mean, he's a penguin! An adorable penguin!

I'm pretty sure the penguin could eat the paperclip. May not be good for him, but I think a penguin could digest it. Now if you are talking about a cute contest, Tux takes the cake. Paperclip=not sexy.

The paperclip has the advantage of shape-shifting and scary mobility, altough if fought underwater it would have great speed and oxidization disadvantages. The dog with the blowtorch would have been a better canidate though.
