Yup. I think we found Saddam's WMD - straight from Syria to Paris to John Kerry's face. That's weapons-grade botulinium, to be sure. ;)
Lemme dig up some unflattering pics of Bush...
ah, why bother?

Aww.. come on. Kerry's vanity's amusing. I mean, flying your hairdresser across country in the middle of the night to fluff your hair, the whole tanning debacle, the BoTox, the manicures, it's just funny. ;)

Gotta remember he is a Metrosexual girlie man. Most women like the strong type.
BTW did you notice that Kerry brought up Chris Reeves name on Friday, then died two days later? Coincidence? You be the judge.
i don't like Kerry much myself, but i cannot figure out why anybody would care if he uses botox. even if he does, so what?

lol, wow, where do you live?! most women LOVE metrosexuals, because they are cleaner, better dressed, can cook, and are much more fun to spend time with. the day of the erotic caveman is passing quickly into history. which is really too bad, because i still like 'em big, stupid, and sweaty.

Oh what now? Kerry arranged Reeve's death? Reeve plotted his suicide at a politically motivated moment?
And you guys got pissed when Howard Dean suggested Bush might have known about the 9/11 attacks, and done nothing for political reasons...;)

No one would, if it didn't make him look so bad right after the primaries.. I mean, he use way, way too much. He lost all ability to move his eyebrows.
Politically though, it really just goes toward his image as a phony. A physical parallel to his political philosophy. Promising not to raise taxes after doing it 200 times in his career, promising allegiance to the UN after voting against a defensive war in '91, botox... all hallmarks of a phony. Sad but true. :(

Metrosexual. What a stupid word. I thought it was midly cute and fitting the first time. Then it became the actual, common use term.
Down with metrosexuality!
We need MAN'S LIB. We need a revolution in which every man REFUSES to bow down, to cave in, to shave, pluck, electolyze, and wax man-specific hair!
I for one will not give in to this trend of so-called metrosexuality! It's just another word for OPPRESSION. Grow that hair out! It's ugly and male and good god, its best viewed by lots of people!
Remember, kids. Osama bin Laden wants you to be a metrosexual.

odd that you would assume men don't want to do those things. most of my male friends say that triming or shaving is more comfortable than allowing their hair to grow out of control, and several of them prefer to wax because it avoids ingrown hair problems. all my guy friends say they feel less attractive if they let their hair growth go wild.
ahhh, but perhaps i have answered my own question...if you can convince men that they should let their hair grow as some sort of male revolution then you will be encouraging them all to be less attractive and less confident in their appearances, thereby making them less competative for women! brilliant!!

Shaving, OK. Out of control hair is a pain.
But thats one thing. Ingrown hair problems? I've never heard of anyone who worries about that sort of thing. You ask me, people worrying about ingrown hair problems have too much free time.
And of course they say the feel less attractive... because male-oriented hair-care product companies have been pushing this "metrosexual" agenda through the usual combo of mass media and entertainment. So naturally guys feel ugly, since its a usual trick of advertising to create fear and insecurity for not being up-to-date in the Hair Care front. Not to mention, with the helpful women who go "ewww, hair!" and pressure everyone to conform to female standards of beauty.
Basically, we have a society where if you don't look, talk and dress like a pussified fruit, women will think you're gay and won't want to have sex with you. Ahh, irony.
I think I'll pass on the waxing, and just be a tough little soldier if I'm ever confronted with the trauma of ingrown hair.

i don't see how worrying about ingrown hairs is any more unusual than worrying about shaving one's face or getting a haircut.

females find males more attractive if they have clean, trimmed hair. males find females more attractive if they have clean, trimmed hair. if you don't like that then that's your choice, and you don't have to date women who feel that way. the guys i know don't give a damn what the media tells them to look like, and most have been clean, trimmed guys since well before the concept of the "metrosexual" was invented because women find it much more attractive.
please remember, just because somebody doesn't agree with you doesn't necessarily mean they have been brainwashed. some people just have different tastes.
Basically, we have a society where if you don't look, talk and dress like a pussified fruit, women will think you're gay and won't want to have sex with you. Ahh, irony.
if you think that being clean and showing some care with your body hair makes you "pussified" then that's your problem. personally, i think men who have to flaunt their masculinity by being hairy and disheveled are the pussies, since they busy themselves working on their manly image rather than become actual men.
i am attracted to men who do what is comfortable to them, and who don't base their behavior or their appearance on maintaining an image. men who preen to much are a pain, and men who deliberately avoid preening to seem more masculine are just as annoying.
you seem far more concerned with your appearance than a nice manly-man is supposed to be...i'd watch out, somebody is going to call you a fag because you spend so much time thinking about male bodies.
I think I'll pass on the waxing, and just be a tough little soldier if I'm ever confronted with the trauma of ingrown hair.
if you would rather have itchy red bumps than use technology that allows you to avoid them then that is your business. if you think that enduring unnecessary discomfort makes you manly then you have another thing coming to you, though...adults, male or female, realize that it is stupid to remain uncomfortable just to prove something to people who don't care ;).
When it comes to shaving pubes though...I mean, come on...
This goes for guys and girls...
I say at least keep THAT natural, eh?

You must admit, though, that the 'metrosexual' trend was propogated by the media as an assimilation of homosexual vanity by the masses, true or not. Never was the trend mentioned in the press or in television media without a mention of its supposed origins among homosexuals. I agree with you that cleanliness and homosexuality are not related, but lets not kid ourselves about how the media postured it.

Just because a man is the strong type, doesn't mean he can't care for himself. The difference between these two types of men are that the strong type is not feminized. The metrosexual is. For example: they are not as masculine as a real man.
I live in a part of the counrty which is somewhat urban. Yes most of the good looking women are attracted to the strong type. It's mainly because of the animal magnetism that they posses. Ugly broads like the more feminized, non-threatening males.

Well it's not unusual. (Neither is anal rape, for that matter.) Especially nowadays.
females find males more attractive if they have clean, trimmed hair. males find females more attractive if they have clean, trimmed hair.
I wasn't arguing in favor of filthy hair thats never ever cut...
if you think that being clean and showing some care with your body hair makes you "pussified" then that's your problem.
No, being a metrosexual who is obsessed with conforming to the standards of beauty set out by popular culture is pussified. It's a long way from simple hygiene to being a metrosexual, so stop the straw man!
personally, i think men who have to flaunt their masculinity by being hairy and disheveled are the pussies, since they busy themselves working on their manly image rather than become actual men.
Really? Just what is an "actual man" anyway? Remember, in the human species, it is far more natural for the female to have less body and facial hair than the male. By attempting to appear less hairy, to appear to have smooth, baby-butt hairless skin, your "actual men" are quite literally hiding their masculinity.
I don't see it as something to hide. I don't see it as something to worry about and fuss over. I don't give a shit about which hair care products to buy or primping myself to look more attractive to women. I'm not vain. I'm not feminine. I'm not afraid of hair. I'm not even afraid of looking unattractive. Does all that make me somehow less of a man then the so-called "metrosexual?" I don't think so.
i am attracted to men who do what is comfortable to them, and who don't base their behavior or their appearance on maintaining an image. men who preen to much are a pain, and men who deliberately avoid preening to seem more masculine are just as annoying.
Yeah. Unfortunately, every male that waxes his hair fails to fall under your "attractive" category since he is basing his behavior, and appearance on maintaining an image. (Namely, an image of smooth baby butt skin all over his pseudo-prepubescent body.)
you seem far more concerned with your appearance than a nice manly-man is supposed to be...i'd watch out, somebody is going to call you a fag because you spend so much time thinking about male bodies.
Someone? You mean, like, for example, YOU?
if you would rather have itchy red bumps than use technology that allows you to avoid them then that is your business. if you think that enduring unnecessary discomfort makes you manly then you have another thing coming to you, though...adults, male or female, realize that it is stupid to remain uncomfortable just to prove something to people who don't care ;).
What itchy red bumps? I have no idea what you're referring to here. I have no itchy red bumps and I don't wax or pluck. So, another straw man.
I'm not uncomfortable. I'm not enduring uneeded discomfort. You know what's enduring unecessary discomfort? Waxing! Yanking the hair out of your skin using boiling hot wax to look less mammalian seems to ME to be 'unnecessary discomfort,' whereas simply not giving a shit about body hair requires no discomfort at all.
