I mean it would help make a thread sticky for the presidental canidates and arguments, then the things that mattered (the issues and other things.) could be posted and the ultra thread would clear up the number of threadss on here.

That does sound like a good idea.

The problem is, if someone wanted to discuss one issue in particular, they would have to go through all the posts regarding other things to do that. I doubt it would end up singnificantly affecting the number of threads about the election, especially since that seems to be everyone's number one concern at the moment.

Pity it won't work. Because it IS a good idea. But people won't get the attention they don't deserve unless they make their own thread. :(

bad idea, I think. Conversations run all around, go off on tangents, etc. If a conversation is good enough, it will continue to rise to the top as people debate in it, and a sticky is not necessary.

A "good" converstation is one with a single bush supporter and a toon of kerry supporter to tell it "Like it is"
