Popular conspiracy theory but the bible says that the 10 tribes got mixed up with other nations deliberatly. Have you ever heard of Jebusites in the modern age? same efect with the ten tribes.

That was later. This theory if I understand it correctly is claiming that the Celts and Anglo Saxons are in fact the decendends of the lost Israelite tribes.

It's basically the exact same thing, since the modern forms of British Israelism seem to be found exclusively in the Christian Identity movement.

It's in some ways similar to non-racist Christian fundementalists who believe in "replacement theology"- that they're the "new Jews".

British Israelism goes a step further and says that the "old Jews" were never Jews to begin with, and that white people aren't only "spiritual Jews", but physical ones, too. That they're descended from the real Jews described in the Bible.

Their Kahn at some point, can't remember his name, converted to Judaism along with most of their nobility. And after they were conquered by Kiev they were believed to be the ancestors of the Eastern European Jews.

Thats only partially true. Khazar nobility were partly Jewish, and partly other eastern religions. During the Desporia the Jewish/Israelite peoples moved all around, and equally into Europe as into the Eurasia region.

I would love to hear some of your opinions on this theory :) .What importance has the alleged fate of any tribes if the initial connection between a god and his "chosen seed" is nothing but a lie and the whole account of the respective deity is just a complete and purposeful misconception of a far older weltbild?

The fact itself is not hogwash- the problem is that some people use that fact as a stepping-stone to make other arguments, such as that all Eastern European Jews are descended from them, which, as my link above pointed out, seems unlikely. Evidence seems to indicate that SOME Eastern European Jews probably have SOME Khazarian ancestry, but that it's far from constituting a majority within the group.

So it is more accurate to say that the Khazars are ONE GROUP from which Eastern European Jews are descended- the other groups being Jews of various other stock, principally German and other Western European Jews, but also some Sephardic stock.

And some people believe America is the lost tribe and either created to save the world or to take it to hell.
I don´t believe in such religious or pseudo-religious theories. They imply the superiority of certain nations among others. That is in my view a very dangerous believe.
At least for "the others".
