Nineteen in a row!

Well, despite a pretty terrible performance, my New England Patriots have now won 19 games in a row with a 24-10 win over the Miami Dolphins, becoming the first team to ever do that. Congratulations to them!

I am a Swami, I predict a Superbowl victory for the Patriots of New England.

Ugh. As much as I'd like them to win another Super Bowl win, they won't do it if they play this badly the whole season. They can afford to play poorly against a team as god-awful as the Dolphins, but they can't screw around with some of the teams on their schedule, such as Seattle or Baltimore.

Good for them, but meh, I don't like the Patriots... my own team (Denver) isn't doing too shoddy, they just beat Carolina. It would have been an easy victory except they screwed up a lot and let Carolina walk all over them. Still, 4-1 isn't a terrible record and they're a good team.

Just a point of clarification, but are you a man or a woman?Click on my profile (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/member.php?u=91874), darnit! At least you didn't automatically assume I was male before asking like most people do... :p

I think Kahta was talking to me. We both know the other to be huge Sox fans, as all good people should be.

I don't read profiles, because most don't contain anything. But thank you. I'll admit I thought you were a man, however.

Tell ya what, I'll root for Oklahoma to win the BCS if you root for the Patriots to win the Super Bowl. We'll compromise.

Hmmm... interesting, an New Hampshirian (whatever) rooting for OU and an Oklahoman rooting for the Patriots... sure, why not? It's a deal :D

Yeah, well, I'm from New Mexico, just in Oklahoma for school. But NM football is, frankly, lousy, so I just root for my college.

And go Pats :D

Ah. Well, there are no good college football programs anywhere near here, so I don't really have any love for any college football team. I always root for Oklahoma, Miami, and USC, however.

UNM has a football team all right, just not a very good one (we're 2-4-0). Thing is, we've got no pro team... that's why I tend towards the Broncos. Denver's close enough, heh.

Yeah. Boston College is decent, but they're never a national championship contender. You'll be happy to know, however, that I hate Texas.

Think about it this way: if USC and Oklahoma both go 1-2 the rest of the season, the Sooners can show the nation that they're better in the Orange Bowl.

Yep, hating Texas is good :)

Yeah, definitely looks like it's going to be OU-USC come January. If we don't screw up at our division championship, like last year... god that was an embarrasing year... the only team in the nation to be undefeated going into December, and we lose both championship games... *sigh*. lol

Yeah, no offense, but that was embarrassing. Especially the loss to Kansas State.

I just wonder what happens if OU, USC, and another team all go undefeated, what with the emphasis on the polls this year because of last year's fiasco.

It was beyond embarassing, heh. We play at Kstate next weekend, it looks like we'll have absolutely no trouble beating them, but last year hangs sore over us. Bah.

Well I'm not so sure about Miami's schedule, don't know whether any of their opponents have a chance of beating them. Most everyone else has suffered or will probably suffer a loss or two.
