Conservatives needed to join Government Simulation

Please, only conservatives right now due to the gap betweent he GOP and DNC. I will except DNCers after I get 10 GOPers.

Let me break the SIM Down:

You earn PP (Prestigious Points) by debating, press releases, and editorials. The higher your PP the more influence your decisions make. Also, the higher the PP the better chance you have to win elections for Senator, Governor, or President. But you can still have a guy with low PP pull an upset like Dean almost did this year in the DNC primaries.

Now, elections are done on a calculator the Admins have. It factors in your PP, endorsements, campaign strategy, advertisements, etc. The GOP won by a land slide in the elections last month cause well, the DNC did jack shit for their campaign. You'll actually get to see how many people voted for you. The Presidential elections is done by Electoral Votes, just incase anyone is curious.

Now, everyone that signs in starts as a Rep in the House of Reps. After roll call in November, depending if we have enough members (Which we should) we will be able to hold elections for Governors and Senators.

You have Committees incase you're wondering. Right now they are:

Appropriations and Finance
Education and the Workforce
Energy and Commerce
International Relations and Armed Services
Judiciary and Government Affairs
Special Committee on Terrorism
Rules and Ethics

Ok, on Rules and Ethics I have to explain something to you. The Admins don't ban anyone at all. Unless you're caught cloning (Multiple Accounts). Now, for motions of censure, you have to have it passed through that committee then on the House Floor. If passed both, you'll then feel the wrath of the admin. Also, you also can push Amendments to the SIM Rules, creation of new committees, things of that nature in Rules and Ethics.

Now, like in real government, Legislation is submitted to the appropriate Committee and if passed, the Legislation gets forwarded to the House Floor. If passed in the House Floor, it goes to the White House where the President can sign it or veto it. If vetoed, we have a chance to override but you'll need 2/3s of the House to vote for it.

The SIM is extremely active also. The DNC has 101 members and the GOP has 95 members I believe. The Libertarians and Independents are each 20 members large.

The reason I'm only recruiting conservatives is because in Government Sims, balance is important. And right now, the DNC has about a 15 member majority. With OR in about 6 days, the GOP is trying to get the majority.

We cannot, we refuse to allow the DNC to capture majority for the next 6 months again...

Yeah, the majority of this message board is so liberal, that whenever a conservative view is posted they call for the moderator's to stop it.

I love how the libs always refer to threads that do not agree with their views as spam. I've seen this on many other forums.

You mean the one he just made in response to your ignorant, partisan distortions? Yeah, he was pretty much entitled to that. ;)

Why don't you go join a real thread here, debate a real topic with him, and see how long you last? Oh yeah, that's right, that Liberal bias thing makes it impossible for you to put out a good argument. Funny how that works...
