What do you guys think? Looks like a wire to me. If it was, whoever was feeding him lines should be fired.

Not saying he defiantly could be but they look rather photos-shopped to me

CNN said it didn't look to be altered in any way.

Well he still didn't do a very good job, even IF they were feeding him

Yeah, if he really was being fed audio then they need to take the guy who was feeding Bush out back and flog him repeatedly.

Exactly. Like I said in the "Kerry was a cheater" thread when this subject came up, if Bush cheated and still did that badly, god damn, is he in trouble.

Saw this on the front page of www.electoral-vote.com (http://www.electoral-vote.com)...only time will tell I suppose, just like the bad CBS memo and the WMD report.

And then...we can say, "we told you so." or if it turns out to be false just pretend it never happened.

If those pictures are real and not fotoshop, it is just another example of the fascist regime in the US and the stupidity of Bush, but is it real?

It could just be a lump from the bulletproof vests that Bush and Kerry both wear whenever they're in public. For what it's worth, the Bush campaign has denied it (http://www.mediachannel.org/views/dissector/affalert273.shtml) in uncharacteristically clear language.
The answer is, 'The President has never been assisted by any audio signal." I suppose you could twist that to say "of course he wasn't assisted during the debate" but then I think you're just grasping at straws. I mean, when the campaign denies something, they're usually a bit more roundabout about it.

If anyone has a video of the debate, they can confirm this for themselves. Around minute 23 of the debate, you can clearly see the outline of a large bulge on Bush's back and what appears to be a wire running up Bush's right shoulder blade. I have attached the photo to this post.

While I don't have an opinion on whether or not this is true, I still find it hysterical.

It could be for Secret Service purposes... since no one was standing near the President, in case of an emergency they would need his cooperation. Purely theoretical argument, but it might be a possibility.

No, I think that they were very very close to him, most likely in the audience and offstage just out of camera view.

The only person who should be fired is the one who took the picture.

Coincidentally and ironically, the network that broadcast the debate and sent its signal to all the other networks was... Fox News.

Because one of the rules of engagement was that no shots from behind were supposed to be taken.

Thats silly, you know they're too far to the extreme right and are so pro-Bush they would never do anything to hurt him.

It doesn't seem to have mattered.
And I thought you meant something different by wired.

Calm down, it's just the zipper where Cheney's hand goes.

har har har...

No Cheney's hand inserts into Bush in the lower back. That's why Bush makes so many stupid faces when talking.

What I find funny is that even if the pic was not photo-shopped seriously why in the hell would THAT actually be a wire

Seriously my port mp3 player was a fraction of that size

And you conceder that the CIA, FBI , sheriffs local, law enforcement have been successfully doing this sort of things for the last 40 years

It is just idiotic to think that they would not only use something that massive (specially when you could go get a Motorola talkabout for like 60 bucks from your nearest best buy) and place it in the middle of his upper back where it was sure to show because of the jacket. Come-on he is an idiot but even so … he even may have some idiot advisors … but still think logically people

It's because the 'people' telling him what to say are not anywhere nearby.
He is in fact being told what to do by Emperor Aaltron of the Vorlon Empire.
