I totally do not understand why there are still as many Bush supporters as there are. He lied to the public. He misinformed the public. He kept information from the public. His bad decisions cost many american lives, and for what purpose? To "liberate" the people of Iraq? If Bush gets re-elected, the public will continue to be "used", Iraq will be a mess (which it will be anyway), but a mess that is still the U.S.'s responsiblility, the poor will get poorer, and the rich will get richer. Who cares if Kerry is a flip flopper? So he changes his views based on what the public wants. How is this a bad thing? The gov't is supposed to represent the public. Now tell me why bush should be elected. If you wish to argue, dont argue against kerry, try to argue for bush.

We live in a representative democracy, not a true democracy. The system is designed to only allow two dominant parties these days and too many people vote straight ticket and refuse to cross parties.

...and what exactly is it you're trying to do? you're not going to convince anyone wanting to vote for bush now not to vote for him in the election. and there have been many threads on this already. to me as a non-american it get kind of boring. it's always the same...

Well, I was hoping for some redneck conservative to try to give me a legit reason why bush should be elected, and I hate reading through all the political threads, so I just made one. :D

You could try offering Biff Pileon, TheOneRule, New Auburnland and HickDumb on to one, but since Friends Of Bill, Fat Smelly Bastard and that crew don't seem to show much, it mightn't be as fulfilling an argument.
