Yep, that's right...I just got a call from a pollster.

However...it wasn't for president. I was asked who I'd vote for in the State Senate race...and I'm like "Eh? People are running for State Senate?"

haha, way to be informed of what's going on ;)
(not like I have any clue who's running in my city...)

Yea...well I know about the people running for US Senate that I get to vote on in November...and I've decided that since they're both being dipshits and running on who will treat veterans better...and one of them is a veteran, I'll vote for the veteran.

I have never been polled nor do I know anybody who has...but I was a Neilson Family once back in the 80's. Didn't help any, all the shows I liked were cancelled.

Yea, until just a few minutes ago when I got that call I thought they just made up numbers...

Be called... I haven't had a home phone for 5 years now.

Curiously, I still get phone books.

I got called for a presidential poll. I was asked who i would vote for, and how/where i would vote (absentee, by mail, or on election day at the polls).

Interesting note: since it is illegal for them to call cell phones, the poll results are skewed. The younger generation is not being polled because if they have a phone, it is likely a cell phone.

So that is good news for Kerry supporters, since the youth vote is likely to be in his favor.

Assuming they actually COUNT the votes. I'm with Opal Isle in thinking that they just make the numbers up on election day. At least in Florida, since the state legislature has refused to make the polling machines give paper trails (big surprise, with brother-dear in charge).
