Okay, for those of you that saw the debate (ACTUALLY saw please, not just saw either party's spin) Who do you think won. Personally, it didn't really influence me in any way, both were nice and polite. Neither had any major style issues. And on substance... well neither made a good enough case to really sway my opinion. Also, if its not to much trouble, could you give your reasons.

Is actually an awesome site, even if Cheney did direct us all to the similar

Which as you can see, is a anti-bush site.... FUN!

There were a few threads on this yesterday. The general concensus was that, while Cheney lied several times, Edwards was fairly average and neither really out did the other. Cheney apparently looked a bit more comfortable, but overall it was deemed fairly close.

"The moderator was shit" (or thereabouts) was also a fairly popular response...

Edwards disappointed me in that he didn't actually confront the accusations by Cheney, but then again, Cheney was equally guilty.

Who won the head to head faceoff? Ever-so-slightly, Cheney. Who fared better after the facts were checked? While bother were guilty of "stretching the truth," Cheney was grilled for his Iraq-9/11 comments and his "I had never met Edwards," comment.

All-in-all, the Kerry campaign picked up even more ground, especially with undecideds.

So, what your saying is, after all is said and done, Kerry won.

Yeah, I always figured Kerry would do well in the debates. The Bush campaign relies heavily on out of context quotes and spin, which doesn't work when the entire country has access to the full statement in context.

Btw, don't believe me on Bush's tactics, check out the link from earlier (the nonpartisan one)
