I opine that you are too intellectually wretched and patently stupid to form coherant opinions, and that your massacre of english is in truth the direct expression of the garbled idiot nonsense that swirls aimlessly around inside your head.

i think we are being serious. that moderator was supposed to be impartial and not LAUGH when someone made a mistake or avoid the question. she did that to both opponents.

she made several JOKES and COMMENTS that she shouldnt have.

I also thought the moderator sucked. I'm a Democrat, and a firm Kerry/Edwards supporter, but I don't think Edwards performed as well as I had expected, and I thought Cheney did better than I expected. I think Cheney beat Edwards in delivery, Edwards won on content. Edwards seemed nervous and stumbled in his speech a lot, Cheney seemed to stay pretty calm and collected, but Cheney also dodged more questions.

I dont think Edwards won on content, I think he lied his way through some of the questions.
Edwards was operating as if he were in a jury trial. Truth doesn't matter, the only thing that matters was what the jury (the audience) believes.

Even when Cheney corrected Edwards that the price tag was $120 billion, not $200 billion as was pointed out from the first debate where Kerry used the same inaccurate information, Edwards went on to repeat his $200 billion figure. He knew that the facts didn't matter, just what he was able to convince the majority of believing.

this when your canidate spent 115 or so seconds on the early on in the former topic repeativly that is sad had to spend at least 90 seconds to think which is sad I mean they weren't even tough

Concluding paragraph on this issue on FactCheck.org:
Kerry would be correct to say the cost of the war in Iraq "is now $120 billion and counting." He would be well within the bounds of argument to say "this war will cost $200 billion," by some unspecified date in the future. But when he says the cost "is" $200 billion, he's straining for effect and going beyond what the facts will bear.

So here we see another example of typical political maneuvering...certainly nothing worse, or even as bad, as what we've been seeing from the Bush campaign though.

Huh? I'm sorry, but I don't know what you're trying to say. Please rephrase that (I'm not trying to be condescending or anything, I really don't understand what you're saying)

I watched it and I found it to be a MUCH better debate than the presidential. I think both of them did a fair job in both delivery and content, although I too agree that the moderator sucked.

I noticed both of them exaggerated the facts a bit, but I think Edwards did it more and a few things were outright lies. However, I wouldn't really expect anything else in a political debate... I've never known political debates to happen without some small measure of inaccuracies.

In terms of delivery and content as a comparison between the two...

I think it was pretty close, but just towards the end, Cheney started doing better than Edwards in terms of content.

In terms of delivery, I'd say they both did pretty good. Both were calm and focused, although I'd say Cheney somewhat more so than Edwards, however Cheney did dodge a few questions I noticed (Edwards did too, but not as much so)

Personally I support Bush/Cheney (lesser of 2 evils IMO, actually I like Cheney, it's Bush I mostly consider to be "lesser of 2 evils"), however to be honest I thought Edwards would outperform Cheney by alot, and I was fairly surprised to see that Cheney actually did slightly better overall.
