John Edwards was my favored canidate and I am defidentally for the democrats, but Cheny tonight said something particularly surprising; He said the Edwards had the worst attendance record in the Senate. Why was this not used as champain fodder before?

Because timing is everything. Using it now when Edwards had little time to respond made Edwards look like a slacker.

Because it could be turned around and used against Bush, who has spent more time on vacation than any other president in recent history.
