You have violated the principles of nationstates: which means not to use any symbols related to nationalsocialism. After all: we don´t want to see praise to Osama bin Laden or others displayed here as well.
The numeristic and their meaning is well-known to educated people. So, you have clearly violated those principles not to express national-socialistic symbolism.

The only symbols I was told about were Swastikas. Words and letters dont matter.

That is like saying: I don´t support Osama bin Laden but only 9/11. Doesn´t work as an argument.

Am I right in assuming this is a British server? And that Max Barry is born in Canada, now Australian? Both may have less tolerance towards extreme stuff than American ones would... just guessing here.

Nazi stuff is too extreme

If they are going to ban those from the site, they might as well include all symbols of oppression. Take a look around the site, there are lots of symbols, words and numbers that should be taken to the same degree as the swatiska, for example.

I am by no means supporting the use of such symbols, but I am pointing out that if you ban one, you have to ban the rest, since they are all related and serve the same general purpose.

Well, I know. My post was just a word of advice. Personally I don't much care if somebody wants to 'hail' dead people. I trust that's not gonna raise them from the dead. I'm sure many people will be offended though.
