I agree, but it doesn't matter. With a Moron like Bush in office we can only hope and pray that he doesn't get realected (sorry if I didn't spell that correctly). In other words, no more tax cuts!

Well, in the past sometimes the economic activity stimulated by lower taxes has actually resulted in higher tax revenues. I believe that was what the Bush administration was hoping would happen.

Tax cuts are only good when the econemy is thriving and we are not in debt. Than you can vut taxes and than the econemy will go into a golden era, such as what happened in the mid to late 40's and 50's. And with Clinton in the 90's.

The US is so far in debt not because we do not pay enough taxes, but because politicians are compulsive spenders. Whether it is the Republicans spending money on "defense" or Democrats spending money on the poor to get votes, the government spends too much of OUR money on things that do not benefit US.
If the government wants more money, they need to earn it. For all the money we have been putting into Social Security, we are not going to see a dime of it because the Baby Boomers are going to drain its resources.
The only way to get the government to stop spending money is to cut them off at the source. Let me decide how to spend my money. If you need more money, do not beg from the government, go earn it like a productive citizen should.

Yeah and the Bush administration also hoped we wouldnt find the warnings of a possible 9/11 piled feet high in their trash cans but its too damn bad for them!
