What's the most you've paid for a bottle of booze?

Only reason this came up is because I bought a bottle of Old Potrero Rye this morning for $61.00. That's a good price, because retail for the 124 proof rye spirit is supposed to be nearly double that amount, but it's decidedly more than I've ever paid before. Before, I'd maxed out on a $40 bottle of single malt scotch.
So I'm curious--what's the most you've ever paid for a single bottle of booze?
i doubt i have ever spent more than $40 on booze, but my father owns a $600 bottle of cognac.

to me, alcohol is a drug and i see no sense in paying extra for the cachet of prestige booze
so ive maxed out at about $25 i think. i may have paid more for a bottle of french champagne before but i doubt i got any more drunk on it than i would have on a bottle of martini and rossi
you might want to add a "I'm to young to drink" option because there are kids here.

Ah, a good bottle of Scottish Malt. Hmm, I paid $55 for a bottle of 'Talisker', but I prefer to pay $32 for 'The Glennlevit'(sp).

To make you embarass yourself, feel sick and then miserable?
In one bottle, $60 Australian for a Tasmanian whiskey of some sort. I didn't notice much difference from standard stuff. It was a bit better, but I want my extra $30 back!
In assorted bottles/slabs: $160 or so.
That wasn't much fun in the morning :(

I don't drink. I've never bought an alcoholic beverage in my life. Never intend to.

Drink for more than 10 bucks, come on one booze I mean its all about getting drunk anyway.

Are you the methylated spirits and rubbing alcohol type, eh?

I was like that once, and then I discovered that the hangovers hurt less if you drink a better quality of liquor, and considering how often I drink, that's important to me. :D

A bottle of Penfolds Shiraz. About $80 I think it was.
Also bought a bottle of vodka for $60 (to impress a Russian woman of course)
and once bought a 15yr bottle of Scotch for $90. Damn nice! Drank it straight in 40 minutes. Man was I sick the next day!

Speaking of which, I dipped into that Old Potrero Rye a couple of hours ago, and damn was it good.

For myself, about $45 for a good bottle of Scotch.
As a gift, around $80 or so for a nice German Eiswein.

The most I ever paid was about $50 Australian for a large bottle of Jack Danials for my brother for xmas 14 years ago. It was some sort of special bottle with glasses included, can't quite remember now. Only know it cost a lot (at the time), and he loved it.
