So, after playing through the demo of Doom 3 I got from www.fileplanet.com, I got the game. I think it's great, but a lot of reviews said otherwise. I haven't played through very far at all, but it's really fun, and builds the tension well. Some said it's tooo dark, but that's what the torch is for. It gives it a really spooky atmosphere. What do others think?

I generally was amazed by Doom 3, both graphics, gameplay and general deep down scarieness with them thigns jumping at you from everywhere.....and the chainsaw rules.

The game was excellent and I think it was worth the money, but there really isn't a lot of replayability once you've memorized the spawn locations. :(
