Whigs, though the Federalists where good because they wanted more states rights, the whigs lasted longer than ONE president. And they had great presidents.

I do realize I'm missing a lot of them. Dixiecrats, etc. Can anyone else think of any others?

Oh that's easy ... The Antimasonic Party on Sept. 26, 1831, was the first party to hold a nominating convention to choose candidates for president and vice president.

Innovation is the key! So I'm gonna go with them.

Well then you might have to get into the factions from each as well, I think having the option of other works lol otherwise it may be endless. You ole copperhead you lol. Actually I dont know what I would be or what you're politics are. I just know I like mindset of those that wrote in the Federalist papers and most of them were Federalists if that tells you anything.

More parties I'm forgetting: Peace and Freedom Party, Socialist Party (?), and that one party that nominated Dr. Spock for President.

Well, same party, somewhat different ideals. Especially the radical Repubs. They were major civil rights advocates.

Populists were pretty cool. They sort of jumpstarted the "government protecting the poor" ideas.
