Do you think that the Disney characters (such as Donald Duck, Goofy, Mickey Mouse, etc.) or the Looney Toons (Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, etc.) are better?

My vote is for the Looney Toons.

The looney toons, obviously, because they are looney.

Some Loony/Looney (sp?) Tunes characters I like better, and some Disney characters I like better. It really depends.

Looney Toons, by far. Disney characters just aren't entertaining. At all.

I know, I was always bothered by the fact that Mickey and Minnie Mouse sound like they've been sucking helium all day long.

Looney Tunes is frightfully funny, while Disney is crap as well as the product of a Fascist.

I prefer disney. I always found looney toons boring, and I still watch House of Mouse sometimes.(PS I have bad taste)

The Bunny is dead, God Save the new King Mickey!

Seriously though, Disney includes Pirates of the Carribean.

Looney Tunes are a Warner Brothers property, Time/Warner being just about as much of an 800 pound gorilla as Disney. They're a signature property and not likely to find themselves under the mouse anytime soon.

Interestingly enough, some of the key contributors to the Looney Tunes where Disney refugees.

It is understandable that you would think that Disney would absorb Looney Tunes, seeing as they have absorbed Muppets and all but absorbed Pixar. "Beware of the Blob, it creeps and...."

I've always loved the old school Looney Tunes cartoons; they're definately something I can watch over-and-over again without hesitation.

I prefer some of the opium inspired toons of that time. Steamboat Willie was Mickey Mouse lite. (and MM was/is an annoying runt)
