Politics Question?

Who here will be glad when all of this election BS will be over? I will be as I'm just all politiced out. Nothing is more boring then seeing two retarded candidates saying the same things over and over for 90 min. Doctors should videotape the debates and give them to patients with sleep problems. Honestly, how many people do you think are going to change their minds about a candidate based on a "debate"?

No one's forcing you to pay attention to politics. In fact, the vast majority of the population is completely clueless about them.

Sorry, Moe, won't happen. On November 3rd the campaign for the 2008 Presidency will begin. Not to mention the 2006 mid-term elections.

It never ends.

I'm tired of it, but understand the importance of this election. In my lifetime, I can't remember a more important presidential election.

On a side note, Moe, could you please stop using the word retarded to describe everything? I'd be happy to suggest alternative descriptive words for you.

I think someone who cannot even spell politicked correctly doesn't have any business calling anyone retarded.

If you don't like political debates or find them boring, don't watch them. They are important to those who care about this country and who is running it. There are also people who have not yet decided. Debates are for the candidates to clarify their positions without sound bites and catchy slogans. Debates rarely make anyone change their minds on who they will vote for, but they do help those who are undecided.
