I do love Wendy's, though not as much as Arby's. Frosties are phenomenal.

I know everyone thinks it's absolutely revolting, but White Castle. Those things are sooooo addictive! Unfortunately, I can never find a restaurant, so I generally have to go without. Carl's Jr. also has really good burgers, and Wendy's is almost as good. I also really like Dairy Queen's burgers, but the ones I've been to are kinda sketchy (not quite sure they're up to FDA standards....).

You are a super freak. The kind you don't take home to mamma.
I'm just going to guess you live in a landlocked state...;)

Jack in the Box. Their Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger unseated the king of fast food burger, Carl's Jr's Western Bacon Cheeseburger.

I am a conisuer(sp) of fast food.....

Never seen a Jack in the Box before. I live in Minnesota, which Roachsylvania accurately described.

"Born and breaded in the Carolinas." Yeah, I don't think I ever ate there, but I remember the billboards from the few times I've been to NC.

I forgot to mention Sonic. They have really awesome burgers, good ice cream, and the cherry-limeade is one of the best things on earth. Whataburger (I think they might just be in New Mexico) also has really good burgers and shakes.

And another thing: Can you really call Arby's fast food? Every time I've eaten there, it's taken FOREVER to get my food, and it's never worth what I paid for it. I'd just as soon go to McD's and get a couple double cheeseburgers for a buck each.

Yeah, I spaced on that one too. At least as good as most burger joints, and a hell of a lot better for you.

In my area McDonalds has the best {most consistent} burgers and fries. McDonalds seem to serve the most consistently edible swill for a burger joint. Hardees has the best biscuits but they have the highest priced drinks. Arby's serves a great roast beef and always has. Taco Bell is the best though simply because tacos rule.

Yeah they're pretty good. Only one I've been to is near Ft. Jackson, SC. But my girlfriend's family lives in NC I hear nothing but good things about it. Had some when we visited down there.

Hmm, didn't think of that. I guess it's fast food just as much as Subway. And generally the closest thing you can get to Mexican food in Minnesota, at least (except for 1 place called El Azteca, but I think I might have imagined that).

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. There is no such thing as a fast food restaurant. They’re giant vending machines with people in them. And if they could eliminate the human aspect of them they would. In fact they are to some extent. Right now they’re working on eliminating the people who take orders. It’s a bit hard to eliminate the cookers, but if they could find a way to do that, they would. Now just for the sake of breaking things down…

Restaurants: Possibly a wait to be shown to your seat, have a few moments to talk, socialize and decide what you’re going to order.
Vending Machines: Little wait or no wait. If there is one it is usually short, unless you got some dumb schmuck who can’t make up his mind, in which case you have to wait for that person.
Fast Food: Little or no wait. If there is one it is usually short, unless you got some dumb schmuck who can’t make up his mind, in which case you have to wait for that person.

Restaurants: Eat first, pay afterwards
Vending Machines: Pay first, eat later, if you even got the right thing or if you even get it at all. If you don’t get the right thing, what are you going to do about it? Huh tough guy? Are you going to kick it or bang it with your hand? You gonna cry home?
Fast Food: Pay first, eat later, if you even got the right thing. If you don’t get the right thing you still probably wont send it back if you’re already driving away.

Restaurants: Leave a tip for service rendered that they pick up while they clean the table.
Vending Machines: Automatic tipping due to high product markup. Find a garbage can or litter.
Fast Food: You get to clean your own table if you ate in. If you carried out, find a garbage can or litter.

Restaurants: Usually good food, although not always
Vending Machine: Old stale food, possible infested with god knows what
Fast Food: It’s food?

Oh well, I read somewhere a year or two ago that McDonalds was trying out self order devices where you just push in what you want and the people in the back make it for you.

Yeah, I saw one of those at a service station in Virginia or North Carolina (don't remember which) about a year back. Not sure it was McDonald's, but you just entered your order into this touch-screen, then went to the counter to pick it up. Kind of interesting for the novelty, but I doubt it will catch on.

Hey! I have to agree! I ate at the Qwik in Luxembourg City and liked it. It reminded me of California's (my home) "In and Out Burger". Basically it wasn't too fancy, just a quick burger and fries. :)

The thought of fast food quite often makes me nauseous, but when I think about the various chains, I'd have to say Arby's seems the best. They have a huge and diverse menu now, with a lot of healthier items than many of the other places.

McDonalds and Burger King are good for breakfast occasionally...french toast sticks, anyone? Yum. :)

Amen brother. The difference between Quizno's and Subway is like the difference between a hot or a cold Filet-O-Fish. And yes, I do know the difference. Fucking McNasty's.

A local joint Called Peters. Best milshakes EVER! And there 'single' burger is a patty and a half, double is 3, triple, well, you get the idea.... Onion rings, and Large fries will feed 2-3 people. All for the same price as everywhere else.

And the service people aren't drones, but real people, and they don't have uniforms as such, but wear scrubs.

Arby's has great jalapeno poppers!

In PA there's a new chain of deli called Sheetz; they're fast and have the world's best sandwiches, and eight kinds of coffee.
