Ask a Catholic
Since the Mormons get their own thread I figured "what the hey? Catholics have a lot more to explain ;)". So if you have any questions feel freee to ask. However, note that I am a more liberal minded Catholic and as such will out and out disagree with some areas of Church Doctrine. Which is not herasy under the freedom of conscience granted to us under the Second Vatican Council.
Way to go Vatican II! I mean, the historical sense of the Church hasn't been the same since 1968... but it's nice to be able to move forward as a faith, instead of lugging along the religion like it's that sweater your aunt knit you that you have to wear, no matter how much you hate it, at Christmastime.

It was a Robin Williams joke about the pedophile cases and moving priests around.
Opps have to explain it; lame joke!

A priest, a rapist and a pedophile walk into a bar.
...
and that's just the first guy! :D
Do you think that's a funny joke?

Well, the main problem with the vast majority of Catholics is they don't know Catholic Doctrine.
A Preist tells them abortion is wrong and they bend over as if being sodomised by lies is the order of the day. Neglecting the fact that a Papal Edict, that's right an Ex Cathedra Edict from the Pontifix Maximus, stated "The issue of abortion is not one of definitive morality and does not therefore falls within the realms of good, nor of evil. It is therefore a matter for the individual conscience of the believer"
So come on Catholics, stop pedalling trolip and read some doctrine... it's not the 16th Century.

Yes it is. Howvever it raises a larger issue, pedophilia in the Church. It is about time that the Church got tough on this. The Clergy excist to lead and protect the Flock, if they fail in this duty we must act.
Secondly, whilst this is no excuse, Clergy Celibacy has a lot to do with it. It is not only un-natural but a violation of the doctrine of the early Church.

Only a nitpick.
A pedophile is what he is.
He doesn't happen because he can't get access to a woman.
