Okay...so apparantly something is going down with Mt. St. Helen.

Florida hurricanes...
Tons of wildfires not too long ago...
And now this?

Too bad Bush spent any money we might've had to help out all this stuff on a war...

This should be interesting....they don't seem to be expecting anything big though. Oh yeah, and wasn't the world supposed to end today? Ya know, from the giant asteroid? Or can we still get hit by it? :)

Why is it that in every scenario where an interstellar object like an asteroid or a comet collides with the Earth, nobody takes any interest in the welfare of the asteroid or comet? I mean, you think Earth has it bad, that big ol' rock is really screwed!

So true! 'Tis truly a shame! Good thing for the asteroid that it missed (or will probably miss :) ) us.

I used to be able to see Mt St Helens from my backyard when I lived in Portland. It was kinda strange to get up in the morning and look out the window and see that.
