I don't know how much this will mean to many posters here, but the grand old nation of Berkylvania has ceased to exist. I know nations come and go but this one seems a really sad loss to me, especially as we'd got to know each other just a little through the game. Anyway, at the risk of being sentimental, I thought I'd start a thread to commemorate his passing, plus ask if anyone know why he stopped?

I don't know what happened, but I'll miss him.

Really? I'm sure I've seen him around recently. Apparently not.

Naleth disapeared the other day too.

It really is too bad. Berk was one of the few people on here I respect a great deal. I just hate saying adieu to one of the General forum greats. :(

Vaya con Dios, mi amigo socialismo. :(

I was wondering why we had not seen him around for a while. I too will miss Berkylvania, he was great, one of my favorite NS people :(

Maybe he will come back and if so, I can bring his nation back. Yay!

I first noticed him when he was a UN regular; he took a long time to become active in General. I can't think of many more thoughtful and witty posters than him.

I knew I should have asked him for his e-mail address, we exchanged some mammoth TGs over the last few months..Bugger.

I think i share many of the same sentiments as all of you folks about Berk. I have even suggested people join NS for the sake of appreciating his wisdom and decency.
I will miss him and NS is at a loss without him.

Yes, I really liked his ideas of living without any violence.

Berk's gone? :(

Why...?
All I can say is, it involved stick figures and soup.

He is, as far as most of NS is concerned. Few of us have other ways to contact him. Anyone want to turn this into a funeral thread, like we did for Raysia? Perhaps it will inspire a puppet...

Berk is an awesome guy and I was thinking about him the other day. I sure do hope he comes back and add his usual light hearted and good natured disposition!! :D

To Berkylvania, wherever he is.
I only exchanged a few posts with him, but I could see that he was both clever and thoughtful. That is a rare attribute among posters, and one that will be sorely missed.
