Americans schools preferably...

I understand that I need your basic 4 year university education first. What's the recommened university for that?

And then, what's the best possible one for Med school? Or Graduate school...whatever we're supposed to call it.

It depends... are you going for research or to become a doctor?

Do you mean medical school?

The best schools for medical school include Harvard, John Hopkins, Washington University in St. Louis, Duke, UPenn, UC- San Francisco, University of Michigan- Ann Arbour, Yale, Cornell

Of course, it also depends on what discipline you want to learn.

Here, this might help:

As for undergrad, I would honestly just suggest a decent school that isn't ridiculously difficult. Also, smaller schools where you'd have more interaction with professors and have a better chance of doing research would help you.

Yeah, for undergrad, any decent research school will do, just try to make sure they have a medical center attached where you can do research. (Like UC Berkeley has no school of medicine, so it's a little hard to do medical research there. ;))

And I have to say, UW ranked #1 for Primary Care! :D
Yay for my home school!

But reputation wise... UCSF, Stanford, John Hopkins, Harvard... the names you might recognize.

Funny you mention this.

Somebody was telling me that the first 4 years only "sorta" count.

What you have to look for is the name. If you hit a good 4 year school, you get better access to the better graduate schools which really count.

Somebody said San Francisco. There is Stanford but that is like $30000 a year.....
