Alright. I'm as dumb as a walnut and I really need to read some more, so does anybody have any good books in mind to check out?
I'm looking for something that will feed me lots of information, but something thats interesting at the same time.

Check out the works of Robert Anton Wilson. Entertaining fiction that makes you think and introduces you to everything from quantum physics to cabalistic magic along the way.

As already posted in the above thread, I would recommend the "His Dark Materials" trilogy by Philip Pullman. It really made me think.

All americans should read The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck.

I read Vernon God Little by DBC Pierre a couple of months ago. It's easy to read, really funny and an entertaining satire on trial by media.

The Bible is a crappy book... poorly written and the storyline is not plausible.

I would reccomend Charles Darwin's "The Origin of Species"

Have you read "Origin of Species"? It is duuuull. It takes about a million years for anything to happen. The Bible is way more interesting.

The Bible is poorly written, has unplausible stories, and contradicts itself. And it makes my eyes bleed to read every page.

Besides that, I do see how one can gain information if they are reading fiction ;)
