People that constantly say how dumb people are for calling the suicide bombers and such in Iraq as terrorists, but rather would call them "freedom-fighters" and such. THEY ARE THE SAME DAMN THING, just two words to represent the same thing from differing points of view. Basing an argument off a debate over terminology is rather stupid.

Why don't people take the time to actually READ posts before posting in them? I mean so many times on this forum I've seen people that will post an argument over and over again, despite it having being refuted over and over again by multiple people. I've also seen people that blatantly ignore the topics of the thread, for example when I posted my thing about capital punishment, and specifically asked people not to bother posting if they didn't have anything relevant to say, I still got plenty of people posting generic crap about the death penalty, rather than about the specific thing I was asking about.

People who say things like "you're not worth my time to argue with" or something after you've just posted a long list of points. If what I said is truly so worthless, then I don't see why you seem to have so much trouble refuting it?

How do people have such short memories? Sometimes I'll be in a debate with someone, and they will constantly keep bringing up things I already covered/refuted earlier! Then they do it again!

Anyways, add your own to this list. What are things that really annoy you about political debates in general, or just the behavior of people on this forum.

This forum just moves too fast. So many people, jumping on a thread at once, by the time you post, 5 other posts have already preceded yours. Discussions break into multi-discussions. People don't read what has already been written and enter the debate.

It really can't be avoided.

That doesn't make it less irratating.

Lol.. my experience here is that it's not 5 posts before I can get to a thread.. it's 5 pages.

I start reading from the beginning, and invariably on the first page I find a post that I just HAVE to respond to... only to find it's been responded to several times before me.
