People talk about left, right and centrist positions, but I'm wondering what would actually constitute a moderate (centrist) viewpoint in people's opinions, what the benchmark is that people use to say leftwing and rightwing.
A moderate candidate in my eyes would be pro-choice on abortion, anti death penalty or for very extreme circumstances only <add more when thought of>
