Go find out for yourself. :)

A few blogs from soldiers in Iraq, and I'm sure most of you already know about this (you see, I don't, because I am a foolish and stupid man).

But it's a nice way to get into the head of some of these guys, see what they're dealing with. Harder to demonize or sanctify them when they come across as so very, very human.

You'll run the whole gamut of political affiliations if you start looking at all the folk in uniform. When I was in I knew a lot of hardcore democrats, a lot of hard core republicans, and a lot of people that weren't affiliated but just leaned more to a conservative or liberal side. Most of them are just guys and girls doing their best in a bad situation. Some don't want to be there, but from the ones I've spoken with, there is actually a lot more support from the Iraqi populace than many news stations would lead you to believe.

And even if you're not reading for the political enlightenment, some of the comments from the soldiers are just fascinating.

I love slice of life stuff, and it doesn't get much better than this.
