Obviously, there weren't nearly enough poll options to include them all. Moreover, my crappy memory forget many of them, anyway. :(

No truer words where ever said then when it was said that peanut butter and chocolate are two great tastes that taste great together.

My favourite is "Galaxy". I'm not sure you can even import it into America... my favourite thing to do with Galaxy is to give it to my American friends, and watch them cry when they realise how chocolate deprived americans really are...

so i was in a convenience store the other day and i noticed that the candy industry has been taken over by "big thinkers"

there is reese's peanut butter cups
reese's crunchy peanut butter cups
reese's peanutbutter cups with white chocolate
and now reese's inside out peanut butter cups with the chocolate on the inside

how many different kinds of the same thing do we really need?

Well, I really like Cadbury I can't get them in the US regularly. Therefore, I must vote for the Zero bar.

Definitely Reese's peanut butter cups, but only the original kind. I could do with out the white chocolate or inside out one.

I also like Skor bars, if you've ever heard of them.

Those interested in chocolate, history, business, sociology, or psychology might enjoy reading The Emperors of Chocolate. It's the fascinating story of Hershey and Mars. When it comes to secrecy and competitiveness, not to mention idiosyncracy, Coca Cola has nothing on these two.

Heath bars have always been a big fave. However my EVIL Aussie friends introduced me to the Violet Crumble (http://www.cybercandy.co.uk/aaasmt/index.php/url_indprod?xlc=96) and Cherry Ripe (http://www.cybercandy.co.uk/aaasmt/index.php/urk_indprod?xlc=99) bars. Those two are Australia's answer to crack cocaine.

the 5th Avenue bar. does anybody else remember those commercials they used to run, where the Peanut was always sad and wishing he could be in a 5th Avenue bar? man, i empathized with that nut...i mean, in this crazy mixed up world today, aren't we all really just looking for a way to be mashed up and put into candy bars?

Agreed. This was/is intended to be a light, open, friendly thread, not a flame war.

One of the best parts of being in an Irish band is that when we play festivals, there's usually an imported foods stall in the merchant tent. Mmmmmmm, Crunchie bars....

I'm told Aero is even better, but I haven't had one. Yet.

I kinda pity someone who hates so much - they pretty much only hurt themselves (mostly).
