So does anyone like em. Sonic Youth has to be one of my fave bands from the 80s. No one really knows that I even like them. So does anyone else like em, and which cds do you have. I have Daydream Nation and Goo but are there anymore other good Sonic Youth albums that you recommend.

I saw them live at a couple of the Lollapalloozas in the 90s. Great band and I enjoy them very much.
My faves in order:
1. EVOL (1986)
2. Confusion is Sex (1983)
3. Washing Machine (1995)
4. A Thousand Leaves (Get it on vinyl, trust me)
5. Murray Street

One of my favourite bands. I was listening to them today.
they're pretty good, though I have to admit I'm not greatly familiar with them...
They are going to be here in October though...haven't quite decided if I'm going to go...it's $40, and even though it's a festival with a number of other good bands (the Pixies, polyphonic spree, metric, the killers, phantom planet) but I just spent soooo much money last week...fixing my car and evac-ing to Texas
but then again, it's also Juliette and the Licks... :gundge:
