I notice there were no pictures of mass graves, Saddam's torture chambers, people being thrown off roofs, people getting their tongues cut out, the new schools, the new water treatment plants, the new power stations, the new democratic Iraqi government, or Iraqis tearing down a statue of Saddam.

Ho hum, nothing but propaganda to see here people, move along.

Yup it kind of sucks when your own people are blowing you up. Terrorists suck as soldiers. Killing innocents en masse as they aren't strong enough to face professional soldiers. When they do face them, they are mowed down like a lawn. Ogrish has some nice footage of our boys annhilating those clowns who don't even have the gonads to uncover their faces.

Ok, I despise Bush, and the war, but it is a war, should any of these images really surprise anyone. Did anyone honestly expect this not to happen, it's not like this has never happened before. Watch something like The Road to Treblinka or Through the Gates of Hell, it really is not at the level of destruction that movie (or Fahrenheit 9/11 for that matter) would lead you to believe, thus far it is coming close to our battle against the rebel Filipino's in the early 1900's.

Exactly where does it say war is fair? The objective of a war is not to play fair, it's to win. They cannot face regular soldiers, becuase regular soldiers are not only better trained, but far better equipped (contrary to popular belief, it is not easy to take out a tank), and supported (artillery, air support, etc.).

As for gonads, our soldiers bomb an area, call in artillery against it, then advance in armoured vehicles usually, does that really sound like the fair playing and noble soldiers you think the US Army is. Of course not, war is not fair, war is not noble, a soldier's job (usually) is to kill as many as the other guy so they don't kill you or your compatriots, the US Army is good at this, and apparently so are the Iraqi's.

How do you know the images, in reality, display what you think they display?
Examples:
There is a picture of a woman on crutches, missing part of one leg. HOW did she lose her leg? WHEN did she lose it? The implication is that the USA caused this. For all we know, she could have stepped on a land mine 20 years ago during the Iran-Iraq War. Maybe she lost it years ago as a result of an infection or diabetes.
There are several pictures of fires and people putting out fires. HOW were those fires started? WHO started them? Again, for all we know, they could have started as a result of a terrorist homicide-bombing. But of course, the images are meant to imply the fires were started as a result of actions by the USA.
It only presents one side. No new schools were shown, no new water facilities, etc. It's pure propaganda.

Iraqis hate Saddam Hussien and they hate America too. Don't you think we messed up somewhere?

At the latest when the torturing atrocities of the US came to the light of day and were dissected in the world press, the US lost all moral highground to claim being any better than Hussein himself. Thus why the US in Iraq cannot claim to be there for the good of the population. There is just too much evidence to the contrary, beginning with the new puppet PM Allawi who is an ex US-CIA agent from the 90's and has no sympathies in Iraq. It is a lot of small things that inevitably end up with the US being forced out of Iraq. The elections scheduled for January 2005 can not be democratic due to the lack of security. So long as the US is in Iraq as both a destablizing and an oppressive factor, the country will never calm down and the fire will fuel itself.

For all Bush's claims of progress, Iraq is still hell on earth.

The trouble is, I don't think Kerry can come along and wave a magic wand and make it all better. Whoever sits in the whitehouse next year, Iraq will still be hell. Maybe one made by the Bush administration, but it's a bit too late to change that now.

Also, does every chucklehead in Iraq own an AK-47?

Ummm questions?

If someone is fighting to protect THEIR country, why do you say they are terrorists?

If another country invaded yours against your will and you were fighting against these invaders (your enemies), and some of your compatriots assist this enemy, are those people not your enemy too?

Same question, different slant, if you and your friends were defending your country against an illegal invasion, and your enemy mowed you all down, and captured this on film, would you think it would be appropriate for that person to state the following:

"I have some nice footage of our boys annhilating those clowns who don't even have the gonads to uncover their faces."

Talk about propaganda BS.

Like the War against Iraq is totally propaganda. There would be NO pictures to show if US troops were not there illegally.

Thank you for mentioning something I was far too afraid to directly reference. The US has been in guerilla wars before. I personally think the worst was the occupation of Germany, where those Werewolfs messed the country up to an extent that al-Qaeda can only dream of. The current situation is bad, but not the worst. In fact, if this were a different time period, the insurgency would probably forever remain a footnote in text books.
