Who are the best people to complain to at school?

For my sophomore year next year (2005-2006 American school year), I want to take AP Euro History (Advance Placement Europeon History)

I was shot down once by a counselor attendant, saying that I have to have special exceptions to take World History Honors on this freshman year of mine (impossible unless we take a special course that takes up half our day) in order to take AP Euro next year. Well, anyone else would've quit by then, right?

Hell no, I'm not quitting. I'm finding the bloody teacher of that class and am going to find my way into that class. If he/she doesn't have a way, then I'm taking it up to my Principal (who seems pretty nice to those of us who don't vandalize the school). He's a reasonable man it seems.

If HE doesn't have a solution, then perhaps the District office itself can help. But before that, does ANYONE know of anyother people in High School that can help me out here before I take my case up to the District? My Biology Honors teacher told us that the District sucks up to parents and obeys their complaints...but still.

Good for you for not quitting, at the high school I went to, AP Euro was considered an intro AP class, but I took it as a Junior and AP US as a sophmore. *shrug* Good luck!

Its not who you complain to, its the volume. Complain to everyone everyday. People who run the schools want as little hassle as possible and they dont really care about your reason no matter how valid it is.
