Anyone else find it funny that he won like 400+ electoral college votes with less than 50% of the general election in 1912?

Do you also find it funny that, once elected, he started doing things that Theodore Roosevelt was promising in his campaign and not the things he was promising in his campaign?

Yep, He won every large state by a slim margin, and lost every small state by a landslide. Good thing the electoral college is around to make sure small states count, eh? ;)

The one thing that made me always go "interesting"

was the fact that he was a white supremist and yet started the Legue of Nations.

The other interesting thing is his war with Helen Keller.....

War with Helen Keller?

Yes. Apparently, she called Wilson a 'aaiiiuuugh!!' and he was greatly offended. *shrug*

What can I say, life is full of ironies and contraditions: A white supremist forming the core idea for the League of Nation, people going to war to protect people, societies killing murderers because the murderers kill people.......The list goes on and on and on.

You know how I explain stuff like this? To be a human is to be a hypocrite. No matter how much strongly you'll hold an ideal, you'll eventually do something that's in total oppostion to it. Of course, almost all people will claim at one time or another that they haven't done such a thing.

We're going to be studying Woodrow Wilson soon in history. We're studying Teddy Roosevelt now.
Just in case anybody cares. :)

She became a major communist and he didn't like communists. ;)
